¿Hay vida después de las Destiny´s Child?

Hoy toca el tuno a la hermanísima.....habló de la que parece que de toda la familia Knowles es la que más conocimientos de música tiene, llegando a ser valorada como la oveja negra de la familia; ella es Sr. y Sras. la gran Solange.

Solange, fué miembro breve de las Destiny´s Child, cuando por un accidente a la hora de los ensayos Kelly Rowland se dañó el pié, para remediar dicho contratiempo, PapiPagaLasFacturas, se lo ocurrió la genial idea que Kelly cantará en una silla mientras que los bailes serían realizados por Solange. Tras este pequeño paso, Solange con unas grandes expectativas en el mundo de la música, lanzó su primer disco al mercado, llamado Solo Star; dismintiendo las sospechas de que fuera la cuarta Destiny. Un trabajo que la crítica aceptó bastante bien, un disco con influencias más de Reggue, cosa que sorprendió más aún puesto que no era un trabajo comercial, al cual nos tiene acostumbrado PapiEsMegaChuloyEchaPeñaComoLeVieneEnGana. 

Después de mucho tiempo, Solange vuelve al mercado musical con un álbum totalmente distinto, más adulto, mejor pensado, con muy buena promoción (como siempre en España no llegó, solamente pudimos disfrutar de "I Decided" en algún baile de Fama!), un álbum perfectamente desarrollado, con un sonido como se lleva, es decir antiguo. El albúm con el nombre de Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams, nos muestra a una nueva Dianna Ross, con un estilo que promete y con canciones que enganchan.

La canción escogida como segundo single fué "I Decided", en donde Solange entra en plenos 60´s, nos da ese sonido de los 60´s americanos, y nos inspira a bailar. La letra de la canción es bastante mediocre, de corte totalmente Pop, pero se le perdona por los arreglos, el sonido y verla a ella totalmente adaptada a lo que pide la canción. Con está canción Solange demuestra ser algo más que una hermana; pudiendo desbancar a su hermana en el puesto de mega-estrella, con mejores cualidades vocales y viendo que la pequeña de las Knowles sabe lo que hace, sabe lo que quiere y realmente lo hace, aunque no sea comercial y sorprenda por ello.

Mis más sinceras condolencia a Beyoncé puesto que quién te destronará de la burbuja en la que vives, puede ser que duerma cerca tuya.......

Michelle Williams - We break the down

Hoy le toca el turno en este juego a la gran desconocida de las Destiny´s Child, ella es Michelle Williams. Cuando el gran productor-papimehacevideos decide sacar en el 2000, la canción que fue el himno para las Destiny´s Child, la gran "Say my name", no se avisa de dicha grabación ni a Letoya Luckett, ni a LaTavia Roberson, primeras integrantes de las Destiny´s Child. Para que no se notará que faltaban 2 a Papimehacevideosymegrabadiscos, se le ocurre la maravillosa idea de meter a Michelle Williams, una chica con una voz personalisima, con base de gosspel y jazz; y por Farah Flanking, la cual solamente duró lo que fué la grabación de este videoclip por disconformidades con el productor (Felicidades a los que saben pensar y han descubierto que nos referimos a Mathew Knowles, mas conocido como PapiMeProyectaNadaMasQueaMi), se fué quedando como una simple figurante.

Michelle no se le da el papel que merecía hasta "Survivor" donde vocalmente se ve que podía arruinar el papel de Beyoncé para ser la que hiciera los altos.

Tras la pausa que realiza el grupo Michelle, fue la más atrevida de las tres al sacar el disco que siempre quiso, y ese fue el "Heart to yours", un disco compuesto de un gosspel y soul, que la crítica acogió como el disco de este estilo más vendido hasta el momento.

Tras la separación definitiva del grupo, Michelle reapareció el año pasado con el disco "Unexpected", y con esté single como carta de presentación. El cuál fue directamente al numero 1 de los Billboard Hot Dance Airplay. Esté single, como viene siendo habitual en esta tierra nuestra, no llegó, no se promociono fuera de las fronteras de EEUU. El single es Pop-Dance, con toques bastante europeos, con lo cual no se entiende el porque nunca fue sacado en nuestra tierra. La canción nos demuestra a una Michelle mucho más madura de la que conocimos en Destiny´s Child, con una personalidad, un tipo y una mirada capaz de sacar a más de uno de sus casillas, de ponerse en plan sexy y saber bailar, sin acabar en los estereotipos de chica negra de barrio. Hay que tener en cuenta también que esta canción fue escrita por la hermanísima Solange (a la cual PapiProductorSoloAmoaBeyonce nunca ha tenido ganas de promocionar, siendo como es la mejor de las 2)

"Like This" - Kelly Rowland Feat. Eve

Voy a crear un nuevo juego....se llama "¿Hay vida después de las Destiny´s Child?.....Es Beyoncé la mejor voz y merecedora de tanta publicidad o estará todo bien pagado por Papa Knowles....Espero vuestos comentarios.

Hoy para empezar comenzaré por el primer single de Kelly Rowland. Después de "Simply Deep", le llego el turno a "Miss Kelly", un disco con bastante aceptación en el público americano, llegando incluso a tener que hacer una re-edición llamada "Miss Kelly - Diva Deluxe". En este single cuenta con la ayuda de la gran Eve. Este "Like This" estuvo 4 semanas en el número 1 del Billboard americano, en España a no ser que no lo pusieran en la MTV2 nunca se llegó a escuchar (es que si no se paga a los 40 no hay nada que hacer). La canción de puro corte disco, con rap por parte de Eve, video donde nos encontramos a una Kelly más sensual, más adulta y que como dice en la canción aquella chica que creíste conocer no ha cambiado. Por mi parte decir que le da a la querida Beyoncé una lección de como se hace un video sensual sin llegar a ser poligonera, abusar de los chillidos cual Mariah, y tener los cojones de plantarle cara a Papa Knowles.
